Can children attend?
Absolutely! We love involving the whole family. Children are very welcome to attend and learn alongside your puppy, helping build their confidence too.
We simply ask that children remain supervised, stay occupied when not actively involved and avoid running around or distracting other puppies. Please refer to our Policies Booklet

How many puppies are in each class?

Just 5 puppies per class.

Our small class sizes ensure everyone receives individual coaching, support and plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

 

What age should my puppy start?
Most puppies join us once they’ve completed their vaccinations, typically between 12 and 20 weeks of age. If your puppy is over six months old, don’t worry—please get in touch and we’ll recommend the most suitable training option.

 

What if my puppy is very vocal, nervous or reactive?
Please don’t worry. Every puppy learns differently, and it’s completely normal for some to feel overwhelmed
initially. We’ll always adapt the training environment where possible to help your puppy succeed. If we feel your puppy would benefit more from individual support, we’ll happily discuss transferring you to 1-2-1 training to provide the best possible learning experience.

As a Puppy Foundations graduate, you’ll receive discounted 1-to-1 training sessions with Flintshire Dog Training for 12 months following completion of your course.

 

Graduation
Every puppy deserves to celebrate their achievements! Upon successful completion of Puppy Foundations Level 1, you’ll receive:
● A Puppy Foundations Level 1 Certificate to celebrate everything you and your puppy
have accomplished.
● A graduation photo of you and your puppy to remember this special milestone.
Whether your puppy has mastered loose lead walking, gained confidence around other dogs, or simply learned how exciting training can be, we’ll celebrate every success together.

 

We’re incredibly proud of every puppy (and owner!) who completes our programme, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you.
